Clarifier system

RAPID CF works on two basic principles of Coagulation/Flocculation and Hydraulic Separation.

Multi-grade Sand Filters

RAPID MGF is used for removal of suspended solids from Raw Water.

These filters can be operated at high specific flow rates upto 200 m3/hr. while treating water containing suspended solids up to 25ppm and producing treated water having suspended solids up to 5ppm.

Activated Carbon Filter

RAPID ACF - Activated carbon filter is provided in order to remove colour, odour, free chlorine & organics to some extent. The activated carbon media is a very good absorbent which absorbs the free chlorine from filtered water. This unit is charged with an activated carbon bed, which is supported on layer of cylix and pebbles. Free chlorine, colour & Organics to some extent from filtered water is removed by activated carbon.

Iron Removal Filter (IRF)

RAPID IRF is Iron Removal Filters are used to remove the Excess Iron content present in the feed water

IRF systems works on the principal of oxidation of Iron to convert it from a dissolve ferrous in water to a ferric or undissolved state.

Converted ferrous to ferric state is precipitated on a filter bed

For low Iron content in feed water, IRF r consists of Manganese Zeolite for low iron content, where the iron is oxidized to insoluble hydrated oxides that are removed by the mechanical filtering action of the Zeolite bed.

Dual Media Filter (DMF)

RAPID DMF is a combination of MGF+ACF, this system is used for lower side load of suspended matters, taste, odour, and chlorination then MGF+ACF and the end product is clean water with no objectionable taste & suspended matters.on.

Softeners

Ultrafiltration Systems

RAPID ULTRA
Most waters contain colloidal particles, organics and fine suspended solids resulting in high SDI (silt density index) which is harmful to downstream water treatment processes.

Ultrafiltration is the ideal cost-effective method for reduction of SDI and Colloidal silica. RAPID ULTRA comes in flow rates up to 200 m3/hrs as standard units.

Reverse Osmosis Systems

RAPID PRO
Reverse Osmosis successfully treats water with dissolved minerals and metals such as aluminium, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chloride, chromium, copper, fluoride, magnesium, iron, lead, manganese, mercury, nitrate, selenium, silver, sulphate, and zinc with the recovery of 85-90%. Reverse osmosis occurs when the water is moved across the membrane against the concentration gradient, from lower concentration to higher concentration.

Degasser System

RAPID DEGAS
RO system does not remove gas which was generated during reverse osmosis process.so Water from RO unit outlet feeds in to de-gasser tower for removal of free carbon-dioxide in the feed water. De-gasser tower is a forced draft type atmospheric tower fitted internally with a top distributor plate and bottom collector plate. Polypropylene pall rings are filled in the tower to sprinkle water where carbonic acid dissociated in carbon dioxide and water, carbon dioxide removes by upper vent.

DM Plant

Raw Water containing dissolved solids is not desired by the industry.
RAPID DE-MINERIALIZATION use the proven technique of ion-exchange for producing treated water with low residual dissolved solids.

A strongly acidic Cation exchanger in Hydrogen form is used to exchange Hydrogen ions for sodium, calcium and magnesium, the cations, producing de-cat ionised water. This de-cat ionised water is fed to a column containing strongly basic Anion exchanger in Hydroxyl form. Here the anions i.e., chlorides sulphates are exchanged for the Hydroxyl ion, producing demineralised water suitable for the industry. The resins are regenerated with hydrochloric acid and the anion with sodium hydroxide at the end of each cycle. To further improve the quality of treated water, it is passed through single bed of cation and anion exchanger in mixed form.

Storage Tanks and Distributions

Mineral Dosing System

Reverse Osmosis treated water has low conductivity, thus remineralisation and PH adjustment might be needed for potable water usage. For this purpose, various minerals are dosed to water automatically, via Mineral Dosing Systems. Undissolved residues are filtered & removed via absolute cartridge filters. The system is fully automated and PLC & HMI Operated.

Disinfection System

1) Chlorine dioxide disinfection system

CLO2 system is suitable for process water treatment where chlorine dioxide can be used as a disinfectant and as an oxidizing agent. It can be used for both pre-oxidation and post-oxidation steps.
The typical amount of chlorine gas required for water treatment is 1-16 mg/L of water. Different amounts of chlorine gas are used depending on the quality of water that has to be treated.

2) UV disinfection System

UV disinfection is an extremely effective technology in inactivating harmful microorganisms. UV technology makes disinfection easy and inexpensive.
